Trekking In Nepal
Trekking program combines sight seeing, jungle safari and rafting program. A short trek in the mountain can be 5 days to two week walk to see a closer view of the spectacular Himalayan range that tends to extend wherever you go. Close up view of the mighty Himalayan peaks is the highlight of the trek in Nepal. Walk on the mountain is always up to the ridge and down the valley. Except while walking through river valley and along the ridge most of the day walk is several up and down. A day walk is usually up for 3 to 4 hours and another 3 to 4 hours down hill. Walking pace is easy, light and gradual.

Nepal first came into world focus when Tenzing Norgay Sherpa of Nepal and Sir Edmund Hillary of New Zealand conquered Mt. Everest in 1953. Most of the peaks over 8000m high were conquered during the Golden Decade of Climbing in the 1950s. There are some 326 peaks in Nepal open for mountaineering today.
